He has written articles about computer viruses and has spoken on various security conferences. He co-founded Kaspersky Lab in 1997 which is a well-known antivirus company from Russia. He graduated from the Institute of Cryptography, Telecommunications and Computer Science, an institute co-sponsored by the Russian Ministry of Defence and the KGB.
