Christophe Devine is a French hacker who is the original author of Aircrack. The reason why he made aircrack was because of Nicolas Ruff who was playing around a bit with a wireless card and Kismet which he thinks is fun during the SSTIC conference in 2004. He has stopped working with the aircrack project and has turned it over to Thomas d’Otreppe.


He is OS-agnostic.

He wrote XySSL which is the basis of PolarSSL.

He has also written some local exploits.
