SOLDIERX.COM Nobody Can Stop Information Insemination

The apartments I work at supply internet to the residents free of charge. They are paying for a 50MBps fiber connection. It comes from the ISP's Router to The Main HP Switch then to the Blue Socket Network Controller then the Exinda filter then back to the HP switch to the fiber converters that go to the telecomm closets. What I am wonder is if it is necessary for it to go through the switch twice as speedtest only posts 1.7Mbps DL. It also would create a bigger latency number in general having to go through the device a second time correct?
