HP Pavillion dm3 power issue

I'm having issues with getting power to the laptop. It acts as if its not getting a good connection between the ac power cable and the powerjack inside the lappy. I have pictures here so take a look and tell me what you think?

There is are always a way around a problem, the true problem however is that you have to find it
