DDoS Packetstorms

It seems Packetstorms is under DDoS attack once again, as well as some other general shite going on around the net, like http://www.smithwaysecurity.com/ getting defaced by Islamic hacktivists. Full Disclosure has some noise about this, but nothing concrete. Does anyone know what is going on?
