Yesterday was happy Communistcast day!

For those not in the know, yesterday the 250 GB bandwidth limit became official for people using Comcast as their ISP. (Yea right, they'll probably just call up, say I'm over the limit, and do nothing else.) At this point in time, I'd like to point out how retarded their thinking is for coming up for such a stupid idea. What really bugs me is that one of these spokespersons said the following:

"The average user only uses 2-3 gigabytes a month."

That is the biggest crock of shit I have ever heard in my life. First let me put this in perspective. According to this logic the average user watches just 2-4 10 minute youtube videos in regular (not high) quality a day (I've seen the filesize for a 10 minute youtube video fluctuate from 25-50 megs depending on the content in question) and does nothing else. Who else agrees with me that this statement shows how retarded people are there. Given the whole Sandvine debacle I figured that they would start basing their numbers in a little something we like to call REALITY, but it seems that once again they insist upon blowing smoke upon people's asses. Let me just say that they better pray to god that no competition ever comes into my neck of the woods.

Oh, another note, I find it ironic that they used to talk about Satellite requiring a separate receiver for each set less than 5 years ago and now they are trying to bully people into using their non-HD receivers now and stealing more money away!
