Biography:

Lt. Cmdr. Chris Eagle is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Chairman of Computer Science at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. He is a co-author of Gray Hat Hacking and has spoken at numerous security conferences, including Blackhat, Defcon, Toorcon, and Shmoocon. He is the first military instructor to win NPS's prestigious student-juried Rear Adm. John Jay Schieffelin Award for Teaching Excellence.

Facts

Chris Eagle is the leader of ddtek (Defense Diutinus Technologies Corp) which dominated Defcon CTF the past few years because of their numbers.

ddtek was the organization that put up Defcon 18's CTF.

Eagle was named Student Naval Flight Officer of the Year by the Chief of Naval Air Training in 1987.

He is the author of the book 'The IDA Pro Book'.

In his spare time he is the Dean of Hacking for the Sk3wl of r00t, past champions of the Defcon Capture the Flag Competition.
