Does anyone know of a good program that allows you to crop (commercials) and compress Windows Media Center (Windows 7) video files? I have tried many programs (Roxio, Nero, Pinnacle Studio 12) to try converting the files to .AVI and compress them like the TV files from torrents and never come close to the video file size nor the quality of 175MB/350MB TV show torrent files. Any one have any suggestions of programs to use?

I've used AutoGK for my dvd rips for years and had great compression quality but I can not find anything to get TVs looking like they do from torrent?
