SOLDIERX.COM Nobody Can Stop Information Insemination

I have noticed that not many users are using the ability to vote on forum posts and other content. Should we remove this feature? Initially I thought that it would be valuable to build reputations within our community, but nobody seems to be using it. If we get rid of it, we will switch to a point system that is entirely dependent on the type and number of content produced on the site. For example, a user would only get 1 point for a forum entry but 25 points for a tutorial. Everybody, please share your thoughts and ideas.
