Should Amp attend defcon?

I've had this discussion with other members of SX, but I am still undecided so I figure get some input from others. I am interested in attending Defcon, but the problem is how much it costs to attend as I don't have much money. Would it still be worth it to go and are there any ideas for helping to mitigate the costs.
