Unlock AMD A4-1250 APU on windows 8 box

I have tried AMD Overdrive and I have a AMD A4 and when I run it it says AMD overdrive can not detect AMD cpu. It locked in BIO's as well. Is there a program i can use to unlock so I can overclock CPU or a program that will just overclock the cpu for me. Thanks
