VirtualBox is not specific to Linux. It will run on most operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Solaris, and likely whatever else you can think of. If you are familiar with Parallels for the Mac OS, VirtualBox is basically a FREE alternative to Parallels. It even incorporates that seamless integration effect that many have grown to love.
