SOLDIERX.COM Nobody Can Stop Information Insemination

So the title pretty much says it all. I am pretty much new to linux. I have used Ubuntu before (I installed it on a laptop for about a month) but I always went back to windows. I have an extra computer laying around so I figured that maybe I should actually learn what I'm doing in linux this time. I was just hoping someone could give me a recommendation on which distro I should use.

The computer has a P4 2.8 gHz and 2 GB of Ram. So I'm pretty sure it'll run mostly anything. It ran Win7 without much problems.
