Dave Wichers is the co-founder of Aspect Security and a long time contributor to OWASP including being a member of the OWASP Board since it was formed in 2003. In 2004, along with Jeff Williams, they established the 501c3 organization that is now the OWASP Foundation. He has also done lots of OWASP conference presentations like 'Unraveling some of the Mysteries around DOM-based XSS', 'Agile Security - Breaking the Waterfall Mindset of the Security Industry', 'Security in Agile Development', 'How to Avoid Flaws in the First Place: The OWASP ESAPI Project', etc.

Justin Searle

Biography: 

Justin Searle is a former Senior Security Analyst with InGuardians, specializing in the penetration testing of web applications, networks, and embedded devices, especially those pertaining to the Smart Grid. He led the Smart Grid Security Architecture group in the creation of NIST Interagency Report 7628 and currently plays key roles in the Advanced Security Acceleration Project for the Smart Grid (ASAP-SG), National Electric Sector Cybersecurity Organization Resources (NESCOR), and Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP). He has taught courses in hacking techniques, forensics, networking, and intrusion detection for multiple universities, corporations, and security conferences, and is currently an instructor for the SANS Institute.

Biography: 

Thomas MacKenzie is a web application security geek from London, United Kingdom and the Birmingham Chapter Leader / Board Member at OWASP. He is also the Director of upSploit Limited - a vulnerability management solution aimed at security researchers and vendors alike and an Application Security Consultant at Trustwave SpiderLabs in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Anthony Lai
Biography: 

Anthony Lai (aka Darkfloyd) has worked on code audit, penetration test, crime investigation and threat analysis and acted as security consultant in various MNCs. Anthony has worked with researchers to convey talks about Chinese malware and Internet Censorship in Blackhat 2010 and DEFCON 18. His interest falls on studying exploit, reverse engineering, analyse threat and join CTFs. He has found VXRL (Valkyrie-X Security Research Group) in Hong Kong and keep themselves to connect to and work with various prominent and respectable hackers and researchers.

Biography: 

Throughout his hacking career he has worked on many different projects including quite a few from Owasp. He started hacking when he was 13 years old and worked as a black hat hacker for many years through the underground to support his many habits. After getting busted by the secret service for cyber crimes, he turned to network security. He owns, manages, and deploys teams of penetration testers for Ghost Security now. Throughout his black hat career he created many different trojans and at his turning point helped mangle different parts of the ghostnet created by the chinese.
