I've finally found some time to make this blog post at the request of RaT and other SOLDIERX members. This post has been delayed because of my research, professional career and some issues with Durandal. After I saw what was going on with him, I decided to stop talking to him and ceased a programming project that I was doing for him. He became angry and started to attack me on a personal level. Now that he's no longer affiliated with this site in any way, I feel that this post is long overdue.

Defcon 16

Just thought I would let everyone know that because of the site being down for as long as it was, I am unable to do the Bond-a-thon posts this month. The main reason for this being that it is currently the 14th and that there are now 23 movies to cover. I might save them for next month, but currently, I have no timeline for them to be posted. Another reason I'm not doing them this month (most people would say just put 2 posts up a day to make up lost time) is that I have a new job which is taking up all my time. More time there means less time to sit down and write proper reviews.

Ok, I had plans for content that was going to be put up, but as the site was down it never happened. At the end of this weekend though I will continue the series of blogs I was planning originally.

Hello, my name is Thane. You can call me Origin. I was made Vice president(VP) of SoldierX a few months back out of the blue. I haven't been around. I just moved to Texas, and just started collage. I'm currently working on getting my bachelors degree in information technology. Still, I have been keeping my eye on you all. I see a lot of things happened. Most of which I choose not to discuss. A individual brought shame to SoldierX. I plan on making sure an occurrence such as that one never happens again. Meaning, I'll be monitoring the site full time.

When asked about the longest running film franchises one can usually think of two right off the top of the head. The iconic Gojira movies, and of course Bond, James Bond.

As a group we need to have some kind of a meeting on our goals. It seems that this whole ordeal with Durandal has put everything to a stand still on account of everybody being angry and disgusted with his actions. I am going to be working on the site where I left off, hopefully everybody else can get back to business as well. Here is a list of things that were on the agenda before the whole Durandal ordeal:

Comcast Tutorial (based on the speech by Blake, devDelay, and bitemytaco at Defcon 16) due to the Comcast 250GB limit
Return of SX Labs (build into current CMS)

I figure since nobody else will talk about it, I will cause I'm done playing nice. First, I honestly believe that the one thing that has screwed up the hacking scene in general are the sheer amount of scene whores involved. It's one thing to not know much and be new, but it's another thing to be an established part of the group that does nothing worthwhile in a sad attempt to boost their own ego.

I just thought I would let everyone know that like Amp, I also will not be posting anything until after the first week of November. He is also correct in stating my decision to suspend the movie rants until further notice. Now I'm not saying that I won't be posting them anymore, it's just that I don't feel like watching a ton a shitty movies right now. I do plan on bringing them back in some form, probably not written since it's very hard to write about how shitty a movie really is and then have people get a feel for it.
